An update on a story we brought you Monday as police have identified the two teens seriously injured after their car crashed into a Maple Avenue home early Monday morning.
According to Claremont Police, 18-year-old Louis Gratacos, and his passenger 19-year-old Noah Ellis – both of Claremont – were attempting to flee police before crashing into the 79 Maple Ave. home.
First responders used the Jaws of Life to free the two from the 1987 Nissan, before transporting them to nearby Valley Regional Hospital for treatment.
According to Golden Cross Ambulance, the two were then brought to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center due to the extent of their injuries, but the hospital was unable to give an update as to their conditions this afternoon.
The accident remains under investigation by both local and state authorities, and police have not stated whether or not charges have been filed against either Gratacos or Ellis.
