An unfortunately all too similar story as yet another vehicular accident has sent a young driver to the hospital. According to a press release, 21-year old Tyler Robbins of Lebanon was traveling along I-91 near Windsor around 1:00 Thursday morning when he lost control of his vehicle, hit a guardrail, spun around, and hit another guardrail on the opposite side of the roadway.
The 1998 Honda Accord, which is registered to Robbins, was totaled and he was transported by ambulance to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center with serious injuries.
Vermont State Police in Rockingham responded to the scene at 12:54 AM and authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash. Police say that the weather was drizzling and cool at the time of the accident and that Robbins was not wearing a seatbelt.
