A Lebanon man was ejected from his vehicle Tuesday afternoon during a single-car accident on Interstate 89 in Royalton, Vermont.
According to Vermont State Police, 25-year-old Brandon Roberge lost control of the Miller Auto Parts van he was driving in the southbound lane of the highway, and rolled over several times as the vehicle left the roadway.
Officers responded to the scene shortly after 12:30 Tuesday afternoon to find Roberge on the ground a lengthy distance from the vehicle.
Roberge was treated on the scene by first responders before being transported to nearby Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center with what authorities are calling serious injuries.
Conditions were slick during the time of the accident due to freezing rain, though the case of the rollover remains under investigation. Vermont State Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident to call them at (802) 234-9933.
