Good Beginnings of Sullivan County Announces Name Change
We start tonight right here in Claremont where Good Beginnings of Sullivan County, which is a family supportive service organization, held their annual fundraising breakfast at the Common Man Restaurant Thursday morning.
Andre Dubus III author of “Dirty Love” and “Townie” and other books was the guest speaker. Dubus III spoke about he and his siblings hard life growing up and being raised by just his mother and how important organizations like Good Beginnings of Sullivan County can help new families.
Good Beginnings also announced that they are changing their name to TLC Family Resource Center. YCN was there and asked Executive Director Maggie Monroe Cassel the reason for changing their name.
