The Valley News reported on the meeting, saying that the group discussed how the college’s new Upper Valley branch could serve the community and surrounding area.
Around 20 members of the business community attended including RVCC president Alicia Harvey-Smith. The ideas proposed at Wednesday’s meeting will help the school in setting up future plans for their programs and infrastructure.
The Lebanon building was formally acquired in August of this year for $1.6 million with help from a loan through the US Department of Agriculture Rural Development program. The grand opening of the new Lebanon branch will be in Fall of 2016.
