Owner of Common Man Restaurants Leads Statewide Fundraiser

It’s no secret that substance abuse has been a growing issue in the Granite State and one local restaurant owner is taking the initiative to fight back.

Alex Ray, owner of the Common Man family of restaurants, with locations right here in Claremont and in five other New Hampshire cities and towns, has issued a fundraising challenge. Ray challenged New Hampshire residents to raise at least $100,000 in order to help fellow Granite Staters in recovery from substance abuse.

For each dollar that is raised, Ray has vowed to match it, ultimately bringing the fundraising total to $200,000 by the end of October.

The announcement was made at the groundbreaking of the Easter Seals NH Farnum North Bartlett College location in Franklin.
