CLAREMONT – The Claremont Zoning Board of Adjustments unanimously approved a request to install a 30-square foot sign at the new Domino’s being built on Washington Street.
The restaurant is moving into the Claremont Plaza on 216 Washington Street, ironically located directly across from Pizza Hut. The plaza initially allowed for 300-square feet of total signage, until a request in April for a new 161-foot square foot sign for the America’s Mattress store increased that total.
The original sign above the Domino’s storefront was 18-square-feet, before the board’s approval brought the plaza’s total signage area to 473-square feet.
The Claremont restaurant is slated to open later this month, and will be Domino’s first franchise in Sullivan County. Currently, the closest locations are in Keene and Rutland, Vermont.
