A Hartland man was arrested Tuesday morning, accused of pointing a handgun at a passing motorist on Quechee road. Vermont State Police say the driver of the vehicle reported the incident, saying the man was standing next to a young boy who appeared to be waiting for a school bus.
The motorist said the man pointed a gun at him while he passed, and continued amining it at his vehicle as he drove away. Police questioned 36-year-old Benjamin Walker once on the scene at 198 Quechee Road, and arrested the Hartland resident on charges of reckless endangerment.
Police did not identify what type of gun – if any – was uncovered during their investigation. Walker will be arraigned October 27 in Windsor Superior Criminal Court in White River Junction.
