With Labor Day in our rear view mirror, summer is officially on its last legs. But it looks like construction season is still in full swing here in the Granite State. The New Hampshire Department of Transportation announced on its website that night paving will begin next week on Interstate 89 between New London and Grantham.
Paving will begin Monday with all work being done overnight between 8 p.m. and 5 in the morning. Only one ramp between Exits 12A and 13 will be closed at a time, allowing motorists to detour to the next exit to turn around.
The DOT says paving should be complete by Friday, September 18, and that multiple signs and message boards are already in the area.
