Motorcycle Accident in Cavendish Leaves One in Hospital
Its been an all too familiar story this month, as another motorcycle accident has left a man seriously injured at a nearby hospital. Police responded to the scene on Route 131 in Cavendish, Vermont shortly after 7 a.m. Wednesday morning to find 47-year-old David Neenan of Cavendish pinned underneath a 2010 Volvo.
Emergency crews extricated Neenan, and transported him to Springfield hospital for treatment. Police say the driver of the car, 74-year-old Thaddeus Buckley, couldn’t see the motorcycle due to thick fog at the time, leading to the collision.
Neenan was later transferred to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon due to torso fractures and a dislocation fracture of his right ankle.
