Crew of USS Kearsarge Hikes Mt. Kearsarge and Appreciates Namesake

Yesterday we reported that 8 members of the crew from the USS Kearsarge began a 2 day visit to their ships namesake and the town of Warner. As part of the visit they hiked the mountain and had a picnic lunch with and provided by town members. We asked their Command Master Chief to tell us about the ship and their mission to the mountain.
